Bachata Legacy Affiliate Agreement

By accessing the Bachata Legacy Partner Dashboard, utilizing your assigned promo code, or participating in this program, you agree to these Partner Terms and our Master Terms of Service.
This agreement is legally binding the moment you log in or share your code, regardless of whether your account was self-created or manually established by our team. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease use of your partner code and dashboard.
Participation in this program is a professional commitment. To maintain the integrity of our data and records, the following rules apply:
Formal Writing Required: To terminate your partnership and delete your account, you must submit a formal written request via email to itsbachatalegacy@gmail.com.
Official Record: Verbal requests, social media DMs, or casual comments are not recognized as official termination.
Final Payouts: Upon receiving your formal email, we will process your account closure and finalize any eligible balances according to our 30-day verification period.
1. The Partnership
This is an independent contractor agreement. You are not an employee, agent, or legal representative of Bachata Legacy. You cannot sign contracts, make promises, or incur debt on our behalf.
2. Commissions & Payouts
• The Rate: You earn a 10% commission on the net sale price of any course or bundle purchased using your custom affiliate link or promo code.
• Self-Dealing: You cannot use your own affiliate code to purchase courses for yourself. Any self-referral commissions will be voided.
• Refunds: If a student requests a refund or initiates a credit card chargeback, the commission for that sale is instantly voided and will be deducted from your balance.
• Payout Schedule: Payouts are processed once per month via PayPal or Wise. Commissions are held for a 30-day clearing period to account for potential refunds before they become eligible for payout.
3. How You Can Promote
You are encouraged to promote Bachata Legacy to your direct network, students, and social media audience.
• You must clearly state that you are an affiliate partner. (e.g., adding "#partner" or stating "I earn a commission if you use my code"). This is a legal FTC requirement.
• You can place your link in your social media bios, Linktrees, YouTube descriptions, and email newsletters.
4. Prohibited Promotion (Zero Tolerance)
If you violate any of the following rules, your account will be immediately terminated, and all pending commissions will be permanently forfeited:
• Coupon Sites: You may not upload your code to coupon aggregator websites (like RetailMeNot, Honey, etc.).
• Brand Bidding: You may not run paid search ads (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) targeting the keyword "Bachata Legacy" or any variations of Daniel and Bri's names.
• Spam: You may not send unsolicited DMs or spam email blasts containing your link.
• Misrepresentation: You may not claim to be a founder, creator, or official employee of Bachata Legacy.
5. Termination of Agreement
We reserve the right to remove you from the partner program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. If we terminate your account for violating the rules in Section 4, your unpaid commissions are forfeited. If we terminate your account simply because we are closing the program, you will be paid all valid remaining commissions.
6. Liability & Governing Law
Bachata Legacy makes no guarantees regarding how much money you will earn. You agree to protect and hold Bachata Legacy harmless from any lawsuits, damages, or claims that arise from your promotional methods. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
